Freedom was photographed at the Presidio in San Francisco a few months prior to the events of September 11, 2001. Created in honor of those who have served our country and the families touched by their sacrifice, the image was later chosen to hang in the Pentagon as a remembrance of September 11, 2001 and the brave heroes affected by that day — offering a message of healing, peace, and remembrance to all those impacted. May the sacrifice of our heroes, and the love carried by their families, never be forgotten.
